Get rid of negative thoughts
Thoughts affect us. Positive thoughts make us happy. Negative thoughts make us sad, afraid, or angry. When we understand our thoughts, we can change them.
Positive or negative thoughts
We have a lot of thoughts in our heads all the time. We spend a lot of time listening to our thoughts. Most of these thoughts are positive. This means the thoughts are good and they tell you that things are going to be okay. Negative thoughts say that things are not going to be okay. They can also say that you are a bad person for example.

Negative thoughts can be like a voice inside us telling us negative things. When we are sad, more negative thoughts can come. We can think that things are not going to go well. That things will not go well at school and everything will be bad.
Recognizing thoughts
Negative thoughts can become overwhelming and don’t help us feel better. That is why it is important to learn to recognize the negative thoughts we have. Then, we can help our brain stop and change the negative thoughts.
